FAQ

Common questions

Should a family member come along?

Yes, if possible. Someone who knows the person well can describe the changes they have noticed, which is very helpful for the assessment.

My parent doesn't want to see a psychiatrist. What can I do?

This is common. It can help to call it a "memory check" or a general health review. You are also welcome to book a consultation yourself first to talk about your concerns.

What should we bring?

An IC, a list of all medicines (or the medicines themselves), and any recent blood test results, scans or medical reports.
